From 5th August 2013, Fastlec will be offering a 'follow your parcel' service which will give you a 15-minute delivery window for your delivery.
When you receive your usual one-hour delivery window by text or email you will be given two 'in flight' options which will allow you to arrange to have your parcel delivered to a neighbour and even to tell the driver which neighbour will accept your parcel, or if this is not convenient you can change the delivery to an alternative date.
Any changes will, of course, be confirmed by text or e-mail to ensure you have total peace of mind. We have always used a one-hour delivery window system which allows our customers to plan their day knowing when their delivery will arrive but our new system takes this to a whole new level.
In addition to the one-hour time slot, our carrier will now also let you know exactly when the driver is approaching your address and narrow the delivery window down even further letting you know within 15 minutes when your order will be delivered.
The 'In-flight' screen will also display a link that will show you the driver's route and allow you to check on their progress to your address.
