Vortice Vort Notus Extractor Fans

Vortice Vort Notus Extractor Fan Range

Social Housing groups are one of the biggest sectors to benefit from the new energy efficient Vort Notus fan described as ‘one fan for any room’.  It is a de-centralised continuous mechanical axial extract fan and is particularly useful for use in refurbishments and for use in social housing applications.

The installer is able to change the performance of Vort Notus according to the dwelling in which it is located by using a simple pin mechanism located in the back of the unit.  Available settings run from 5 litres per second to 10 litres per second with a 15 litres per second boost.  The constant airflow control ensures more than adequate performance in a wide range of situations meaning that this one fan can be used for wall, ceiling and in-duct installations.

Vortice Vort Notus Range

There are two Vort Notus models within the range.  The first is equipped with a timer and the second is a humidity version for wall and ceiling installations only.  This second model reads the humidity in the room and automatically switches from minimum to maximum operation as required.

Ian Davis, Technical Manager at Vortice said: “The Vort Notus is highly energy efficient, is ideal for refurbishments and has been designed with simplicity for the installer and end consumer in mind. We have found it is particularly popular for social housing applications.”
