Steinel SensIQ White Multifunction PIR (Previously 600617)

The SensIQ is a motion detector for walls and ceilings which are fast becoming accepted as one of the most cleverly thought-through motion detectors of its type. It not only looks good but offers a high level of intelligence.

The SensIQ incorporates several unique features including being the first sensor for all requirements and coverage angles from 200 deg to 300 deg.

A remote control makes handling exceptionally easy. Its detection reach can be easily adjusted in three different directions on the unit itself both quickly and accurately saving you the time that used to be required to carry out these adjustments.

The SensIQ has been awarded an internationally coveted IF Design Award for its combination of professional sensor technology and contemporary design.

Less effort - more options

Accessories for the SensIQ models leave no question unanswered.

Soft Start module, Wireless Module or floating module can adapt the SensIQ to your specific requirements and the remote control make operation exceptionally simple.

Basic Settings on the Unit

The twilight setting, the time setting and the reach setting are three important parameters that can be easily adjusted directly in the unit.

For the twilight setting the sensor’s response threshold can be set to values of between 2 lux and 2000 lux. The time you want the connected load to stay ‘ON’ at night can be infinitely varied from five seconds to fifteen minutes. A pulse function is also provided.

The reach can be adjusted in three directions by three separate control dials (100 deg. Respectively) independently from one another.

Simple and well structured - operation and use

The SensIQ benefits from a number of intelligent programmes and modes that can all be selected directly on the unit or using a practical remote control that comes with the sensor. This way, you stay completely in control despite the systems technical complexity. Here is a summary of the main setting options:

Twilight Setting (response threshold) The response threshold can be set to between 2 and 2000 lux. You can save the twilight response threshold using the remote control.

Reach Setting: Three control dials set to reach in three directions (100 deg each) to the accuracy of a metre. The time you want the light to stay ‘ON’ for can be infinitely varied between 5 seconds and 15 minutes.

Switch-off Delay:

Pulse Mode: In the pulse mode, the output is activated for 2 seconds (e.g. for staircase lighting time switches). Afterwards, the sensor does not react to a movement for approx. 8 sec.

Special functions:

Holiday Mode

The SensIQ provides a number of special functions. One of them is the holiday mode. This is activated by the relevant button on the IR remote control. The holiday function simulates occupancy to protect your home from intruders while you are away. When the twilight threshold is reached the connected load is switched ‘On and ‘OFF’ at certain programmed times. Normal sensor mode remains active.

Manual override setting

This function can also be selected using the remote control supplied with the sensor. Pressing the relevant button switches the connected load ‘ON’ for four hours. After this period the sensor returns to sensor mode automatically.

Dimensions: (w x h x d) 144 x 113 x 172mm

Output: 2500W max. (resistive load, e.g. filament bulb), 1000W max. (uncorrected, inductive, e.g. fluorescent lamps), Max. 1000W (series corrected), 500W max (parallel corrected), 600W max (electronic ballasts, capacitive e.g. low energy bulbs, max of 8 each

Voltage: 230 - 240 V/ 50 Hz (2.5sq mm max.)

Detection angle: 300 degrees with 180 degrees angle of aperture as well as sneak-by guard for coverage directly below the sensor; capability of masking out individual detection segments

Reach: Adjustable in 3 directions by control dial, (2 - 20m max.)

UK Delivery:

Orders over £75 - FREE DELIVERY*

Orders under £75 - Delivery £4.95 including VAT

*A very small number of large heavy items may attract an additional pallet charge to certain areas. This charge is calculated based on the overall order value and the delivery postcode area. For example, large oil-filled heaters such as the 'Rointe Radiator Range' cannot be safely transported via standard courier services. Depending on your area, there will usually be a carriage paid order value threshold where FREE delivery can still be attained.

Overseas Customers:

Please feel free to contact us for a price if you would like delivery outside of the UK.

Same Day Despatch On In-Stock Items:

We despatch in-stock items on the same working day when they are ordered before 2PM GMT. You can always contact us after this time to see if it is still possible - we are keen to help where we can. If you need a timed delivery service (Before Noon, 10am, 9am and Saturdays etc) - then please contact us directly for a price.

"Fastlec- They really mean fast, press the enter key on your computer and the doorbell rings.

I have used Fastlec three times each time I have found them to be efficient fast and happy to give you information on their products."

If You Have A Deadline:

Out of stock items will show a 'usual' delivery time on the product page, we will notify you if they are likely to take any longer than this. If you have a deadline then please feel free to contact us by email, phone or fax - we can usually meet it!

Fast and Secure:

Most in-stock items are despatched via traceable and insured carriers on a next-day service.

Domestic Addresses: Our carriers deliver between 7.30am and 6.00pm. If you are not in when the carrier arrives, they will leave a card with instructions on how to arrange re-delivery or collection from your local depot.

Business Addresses: Our carrier will attempt delivery on a working day during normal business hours. If there is no-one to sign for the delivery, a card will be left and the parcel taken to the local depot for collection within one week.

Received Damaged:

Any items being returned as damaged in transit, requiring replacement or refund, should be notified to us, either verbally or in writing, within 24 hours of delivery and must be accompanied by clear photographs showing both the packaging - particularly any damage to the packaging - and also the damaged item(s). The correct paperwork can then be sent and these photographs will ensure that replacements or refunds can then be processed with a minimum of delay.

Storage Heater Deliveries:

Even when purchasing a single heater, it will be delivered on a pallet in an attempt to ensure no damage is caused during transit due to the weight of the unit and also the weight of the bricks to be fitted into the unit on installation. Multiple heaters may even mean multiple pallets. The nature and weight of these items mean a truck fitted with a tail lift is usually required and deliveries can, on occasion, be held up waiting for the availability of specialist transport although this is unusual.

Today's couriers, due to stringent Health and Safety restrictions, who are employed to deliver your storage heater, are contracted to deliver to the external front of your property only and are not contracted to maneuver these heavy items into your house or to their final locations. The item will be delivered to the door of the outer building if access allows (low-level pump trucks are used to move the pallet, therefore, any steps on the way will make this difficult and will probably mean delivery to the bottom of the steps only).
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate manpower (2 people recommended) to transport your new heater(s) and bricks from the delivery point to its final location without injury or damage to yourself, your new heater, or your property.

These considerations have been carefully designed to implement safe shipping and handling practices that will ensure safe and intact delivery of your heater and safe working practices for the delivery personnel.
