Xpelair XIM100+ Two Speed Inline Mixed Flow Fan
In the past centrifugal ducted fan systems have been very noisy and often very bulky. This is no longer the case.
This new low profile Xpelair XIM100+ is a two speed 100mm inline mixed flow extract fan which provides more than enough usable power for all domestic ducted applications and the size of the unit makes it convenient when space is at a premium.
The new Xpelair XIM100+ is a plastic mixed flow unit which is eminently suitable for use in a wide range of ducted applications.
It is smaller than a conventional centrifugal unit and operates at a much lower sound level thereby eliminating the need to fit a silencer.
All models have a mounting cradle supplied as standard which makes installation a simple operation and which assists in future inspection.
Electrical connection is made simple as the terminal box is easily accessible.
Features and Benefits
The XIM100+ is IPX4 rated and even in a very high humidity environment this fan will not deteriorate due to its plastic construction.
The unit is double insulated making it suitable for operation on a 220 - 240V 50Hz and is maintenance free with 'greased for life' bearings and safety overload protection.
Maximum Extract Performance is 251 cubic metres per hour or 70 litres per second
Minimum Extract Performance is 190 cubic metres per hour or 53 litres per second
Maximum Sound Pressure level for dB(A) at 3 metres is only 14.
Duct size required is 100mm
