Vent Axia Lo-Carbon Solo Plus SELV Extractor Fans
Specifically designed for use in the splash area of a bathroom, The Lo-Carbon Solo Plus SELV range from Vent-Axia can be used for either through the wall or ducted applications and is suitable for small rooms, especially internal bathrooms, WC’s.
The Lo-Carbon Solo Plus SELV is finished in white and can be flush or surface mounted, and has a 2-position 100mm circular spigot allowing connection to a vertical ducting system or for rear entry.
The powerful centrifugal, forward curved, impeller allows installations using 100mm ducting in straight runs up to 50m, whilst still achieving 15l/s as required by Document F of the current building regulations.

An adjustable boost speed of variable between 15-30l/s can be set at installation enabling the boost/override operation to meet Building Regulations ensuring low energy usage and quiet operation.
A third speed option is available on all models to allow a third speed which gives a constant trickle ventilation of 6 litres per second. This option is selectable when installing the unit.
Depending on the model, the fan will switch from trickle (if selected) to boost via the pullcord/light switch/humidity sensor/PIR.
All models can be wall; panel or ceiling mounted and can be connected to either circular, rectangular or Vent-Axia’s System 25 flat ducting, which has been specially designed for concealed applications that can benefit from its ultra slim 25mm depth.
Cable entry is achieved through a rear entry grommet on the top right hand side of the unit.
Enclosure of the electrical components is manufactured from flame retardant grade material.

The Safety Extra Low Voltage Fan (SELV) is designed for areas where a fan has to be fitted over or within zone 1 in a room containing a fixed bath or shower according to IEE wiring regulations (BS 7671). The Solo Plus SELV fan can be safely installed within the spray area and is rated IPX7.
Control is by a mains safety isolating transformer unit with 24V DC SELV output, which is sited away from any source of spray and out of reach of a person using a fixed bath or shower.
