The W range of point of use water heaters are a popular means of providing hot water to single sinks or basins in homes, kitchens,workshops, village halls, surgeries and similar environments. They provide a low volume of water in either 5 or 10 litre models and are open outlet or nonpressurized units. The operation relies on the opening of the outlet on the unit to displace the hot water in the heater with incoming cold water.
