Steinel Occupancy Sensors offer huge cost savings through intelligent lighting management. Adapting and controlling the lighting exactly to your needs, even in large rooms. This is accomplished by Steinel's highly developed and perfected sensor technology. The system is based on the advanced multi-lens system: three highly sensitive pyro detectors are interconnected to sense the presence of persons in the room. Geared specially to the light sensitivity of the human eye, a light sensor continually measures the ambient light level and compares it with the brightness setting. The built-in electronics process the information received from light sensor and pyro detectors to control the lighting and level of illumination of all light sources connected to the system.
