Using 80 percent less energy than a convential warm air hand dryer, the fully automatic, non-heated Dyson Airblade uses 400MPH sheets of air to literally scrape the water from your hands giving a drying time of less than 10 seconds. Additionally, hospital standard anti-microbial filters are used to remove 99.9 percent of bacteria.

The difference between the Dyson AB03 and the AB01:
"Its different from the AB01 because we made the fascia not from Aluminium, but from Polycarbonate ABS, which is a fantastic plastic (sorry). We had a bit of a headache trying to work out what the new material means for the hand dryers strength. We designed the earlier AB01 to be virtually indestructible, so the plastic that we used for its sibling had to be able to match up to everyday abuse as well."
"We designed a number of tests to prove the strength of AB01and compare it to other hand dryers. These tests replicate things like a hand dryer being kicked, burnt and ripped off a wall. The thing is, the new machine passed them all as well-so we had to come up with some even tougher tests to demonstrate how tough it is."
